Who We’re Looking For
We are searching for a passionate and driven individual to join MaDeCa as a Co-Founder, responsible for Finance & Regulatory Affairs. You should share our deep commitment to sustainability and have a strong belief in the potential of algae cultivation to transform industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and fundraising activities. Develop and manage financial strategies that ensure the long-term sustainability of the company.
- Regulatory Affairs: Navigate the complex regulatory landscape for offshore algae farming. Ensure compliance with international, national, and local regulations, and develop strong relationships with regulatory bodies.
- Strategic Leadership: Work closely with other co-founders to shape the company’s strategic direction, fostering a culture of innovation and growth.
- Partnerships & Grants: Identify and apply for grants, build relationships with financial institutions, and explore partnership opportunities to secure funding.
Qualifications:
- ideally a background in finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Experience with regulatory processes, preferably in the biotech, marine, or agricultural industries is a plus.
- Passion for sustainability, particularly in bioeconomy and renewable resources is a must.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
